Over the years we have had the opportunity to celebrate an array of musical styles, bands and artists as jukebox musicals have landed in the West End. 2018 is no different as we welcome All Or Nothing – The Mod Musical to the Ambassadors Theatre.

In a year that also bring Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, All Or Nothing arrives in the capital and joins the likes of Motown The Musical and Mamma Mia! as a jukebox extravaganza that will put smiles on the faces of audiences.

This time around it is the band Small Faces that gets all the attention as Chris Simmons plays the iconic Steve Marriot alongside the show’s writer Carol Harrison as Kay Marriot. Together they will help to shape a story that takes audiences back to the 1960s and drops them right into the Mod counterculture movement.

All Or Nothing, named after a Small Faces song, depicts the rise of the band as their hit songs are showcased by talented performers, further cementing the band’s place in history.

Small Faces emerged in 1965 and they are recognised as a key part of the Mod movement, releasing songs like Tin Soldier, Lazy Sunday and Watcha Gonna Do About It during their time in the spotlight. Those songs and more are part of the score for All Or Nothing.

Both Carol Harrison and Chris Simmons appeared in their respective roles when the show was staged at the Arts Theatre and return for the Ambassadors run. Whilst Harrison has penned the show, she is best known as a performer and as a range of credits to her name, dating back to the 1970s. With All Or Nothing, however, she has scored a significant hit and it means that her work will be highly sought-after in the years ahead.

The Ambassadors Theatre has, until January 2018, been the long-running home of hit percussive musical Stomp. Located in London’s West End it has welcomed various shows over the years, with David Eldridge’s new play Beginning amongst the new productions headed there in 2018.

All Or Nothing – The Mod Musical opens at the Theatreland location on Wednesday 28th March 2018.
