Bat Out of Hell Photos & Video
When audiences think of Meat Loaf they naturally think of his iconic album Bat Out Of Hell, plus its follow-up releases Bat Out Of Hell II: Back Into Hell and Bat Out Of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose. Well, fans of the iconic performer will be able to rejoice as the show based on those releases returns to the capital, this time with a run at the Dominion Theatre.
Bat Out Of Hell The Musical features an array of songs plucked from these albums alongside a post-apocalyptic story that will stay in the minds of audiences for years to come. So to call this show a must-see would surely be an understatement!
The musical is the brainchild of Jim Steinman, the composer who actually worked with Meat Loaf on a number of his albums, including those listed above, and this makes him a perfect fit to bring the capital’s latest jukebox musical to life.
So along with songs from those hit albums, Bat Out Of Hell The Musical takes us to a wasteland in the post-apocalypse and introduces us to characters like Strat and Falco and the dangers that arise when the former falls for the latter’s daughter. These aspects already combined to make this the theatre event of 2017 and now it will wow audiences in 2018 as well.
Whether you are a fan of songs like You Took The Words Right Outta My Mouth and It’s All Coming Back To Me Now, or if you just love witnessing fantastic jukebox musicals, then Bat Out Of Hell is the show that will leave you with a lasting impression.
Bat Out Of Hell The Musical runs at the Dominion Theatre from April 2018.
