March 2017 will have audiences flocking to The Other Palace, one of the capital’s newest venues, to witness a murder mystery to remember in the form of Murder For Two. The musical from Joe Kinosian and Kellen Blair stars Ed MacArthur and Jeremy Legat working under the direction of Luke Sheppard.

The show is a comedy that will have audiences rolling in the aisles as a wannabe big-time detective takes his opportunity to reach the top when a murder happens on his time. Officer Marcus Moscowicz has the chance of a lifetime to prove his worth when Arthur Whitney, a well known writer, is discovered deceased and he sets out to find the culprit. As he puts the clues together hilarity ensues as the mystery comes together – all of which would be much easier if he was a real detective.

Both Ed MacArthur and Jeremy Legat take on the burden of multiple characters in the show, demonstrating their enormous talents at The Other Palace. They work under the direction of Luke Sheppard, well known in the capital for a host of plays. Most recently he put together In The Heights at the Kings Cross Theatre and has also directed Oliver! At the Watermill Theatre, Next Fall at the Southwark Playhouse and Bed And Sofa at the Finborough Theatre, to name but a few.

But now he sets his sights on the studio of The Other Palace, the venue formerly known as the St James Theatre. It follows in the footsteps of some top shows to have played this space, with 2017 alone bringing the likes of The Political Party 2017 With Matt Forde and This Joint Is Jumpin’.

Murder For Two runs at The Other Palace Studio from Thursday 2nd March 2017.
