Over the years we have seen an array of top shows head to the Dominion Theatre and entertain West End audiences with wonderful performances, toe-tapping songs and exciting costumes. This tradition continues in 2020 as the hit 1998 film The Prince of Egypt finds a new home on the stage, with Luke Brady and Liam Tamne amongst the performers set to tread the boards.
Some talented creatives have put the show together, honing their talents from an array of hit international shows, resulting in one of 2020’s must-see productions; taking audiences back to Ancient Egypt and experiencing the classic story of Moses.
The Prince Of Egypt re-introduces audiences to characters like Moses, Ramses, Miriam, Tzipporah and Aaron, amongst others. Moses is the man destined to free his people from oppression and allow them to change their destinies. Along the way some wonderful musical numbers are belted-out from the stage, leaving a lasting impression.
Luke Brady plays Moses, developing the skills he has nurtured on previous shows in the West End and beyond. His credits range from Sweeney Todd at the Adelphi Theatre to St George And The Dragon at the National Theatre and The Fantasticks at the Duchess Theatre, to name but a few. He will bring new life to the character of Moses as he performs alongside the mentioned Liam Tamne, as well as Alexia Khadime and more.
And it all plays at the Dominion Theatre on Tottenham Court Road, a venue that was recently the home of Big and has previously played host to White Christmas and We Will Rock You, amongst many others.
The Prince Of Egypt runs at the Dominion Theatre from Tuesday 25th February 2020 (previews from Wednesday 5th February 2020).
